Socioeconomic Determinants of Life Expectancy: Southeastern European Countries

This paper analyses the socioeconomic determinants of life expectancy in Southeastern Europe countries highlighting most important factors that can affect this part Europe. 
 Two Panel Data Regression with fixed–effects model was applied for 20 years from 2000 to 2019. Eight and environmental explanatory variables were used verify their influence on expectancy.
 The analysis highlights such as urbanization; GDP per capita; fertility rate; education; marital status; CO2 emission non-significant other factors, health expenditure or care out-of-pocket healthcare expenditure. study points out spending (public and/or household spending) is not a significant factor improving SEE countries. Results illustrate urbanization, emissions, rate are influential factors. A surprising result concerns status, which affects inversely one panel regressions.
 Life very expressive outcome indicator public health. Each country committed money improve people's quality life, translates into longer (Life expectancy), even better, healthier (Health Adjusted Expectancy). results study, considering demographic development (low aged people), show policymakers need consider organization reassess effectiveness On hand, balanced urbanization process clean ecosystem (less emissions) conducts better (consequently an improved expectancy).
